Putting one life on another life for the purpose of experiencing Christ as life.

Disciple: a pupil, one who is teachable, a learner

Discipleship is intentional and relational.

Discipleship is a relationship

Where does it begin?

In Prayer... Pray that God would show you with whom He will disciple you.

God will clearly answer your prayer. He knows exactly whom He wants to bring together for the purpose of incredible spiritual growth.

What does a Discipleship Relationship look like?

Two People meeting one on one, at least, once per week to discuss their respective relationships with God by asking 3 questions of one another.

Given: Both parties must be committed to the idea that God must be implored, invited, and allowed to show up!

    1. Where are you with God right now? What's He showing you?
    2. Tell me about an experience with God you had this week, something that happened and you thought, "Now, that was a God thing!"
    3. Give me 3 things that I can be praying for you (These things must be about you only). I commit that I will pray for you daily until we meet next time.

"If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple. Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple" - Luke 14:26,27

When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." -

Matthew 28:17-20

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, these entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. - 2 Timonthy 2:1,2

...and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near. - Hebrews 10:24,25

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. - Galatians 2:20

If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. - Galatians 5:25

So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. - 1 Corinthians 3:7

But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1 Corinthians 6:17
